Wilson SavoyWilson Savoy, editing and cinematographer, began studying film at the Louisiana State University in 2000. He later transfered to UL to continue his studies in Lafayette and be closer to the culture he was most interested in documenting.

Wilson Savoy received a grant to further study film and advance his career in local film-making. Investing the grant money in high-definition video equipment, Wilson became one of the first local filmmakers to have access to 1080i High Definition video equipment. The past 8 years have been spent documenting Louisiana life, culture and traditions, as well as producing music instructional videos. [View portfolio]
